Official Rules
No purchase necessary to enter or win. Open only to legal residents of the United States (except where prohibited) 18 years of age or older as of date of entry.
How to enter: Entrants must enter to win on the www.kiwimagonline.com website during the Sweepstakes Period and complete all relevant fields. All online entries must be received no later than April 30, 2007 by 9:00 P.M. Pacific Time. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service will apply. Entries to the sweepstake are subject to the privacy policy of May Media Group LLC.
Limit one entry per household. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected or illegible entries. The sweepstakes are open to legal residents of the United States. Residents of Rhode Island and Puerto Rico are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes, which is void in those states and wherever prohibited by law.
Prizes, Estimated Retail Value: Two (2) Grand Prizes: Round trip air1 and entrance for a family of 4 people (two adults, two children) for Parent/Child Space Camp, 3-day/2-night program at the U.S. Space Camp located at U.S. Space & Rocket Center, One Tranquility Base in Huntsville, Alabama.
There will also be five (5) First Place Prizes: The Glycemic Index Made Simple by Sherry Torkos, and ten (10) Second Place Prizes: A one (1) year subscription to KIWI Magazine.
Travel to Space Camp must take place between July 30, 2007 and July 30, 2008. Certain blackout periods and travel restrictions may apply. Space Camp and airline reservations must be made at least sixty (60) days in advance of the intended trip date. Winners are responsible for all ground transportation to/from airport and to/from the U.S. Space Camp. Winners and their travel companions must all qualify and comply with the U.S. Space Camp requirements in order to be eligible (see www.spacecamp.com). All airline taxes, fees, and surcharges will be the responsibility of the passengers including excess baggage fees). Prizes are nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except at the discretion of the Sponsors in the event that prize (or portion of prize) cannot be awarded for any reason, in which case, Sponsor may award a prize of equal or greater value.
Winners: Potential winners will be selected by Sponsor(s) in a random drawing to be held on May 15, 2007. Prizes will be awarded and the potential winners will be notified by mail. Prizes are non-transferable, non negotiable and not redeemable for cash, credit or merchandise. No responsibility or liability for damages, losses or injury resulting from acceptance or use of these prizes will be assigned to Natrol, Inc. or May Media Group, LLC. Any taxes related to the prize are the responsibility of the individual winner. Winners will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, where legal, within 10 days of notification. If these documents are not returned within this time period, or the notification is returned as undeliverable, the Grand Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternative winner. The entrant selected as the potential winner must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such requirements. All drawings are conducted under the supervision of the Sponsor(s) whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
Odds: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Prizes: Upon verification of eligibility, the prizes will be awarded. Two (2) Grand Prizes: Round trip air, overnight accommodations and entrance for a family of 4 people (2 adults, 2 children) for Parent/Child Space Camp, 3-day/2-night program at the U.S. Space Camp located at U.S. Space & Rocket Center, One Tranquility Base in Huntsville, Alabama, (estimated retail value is $2,048.00 for each Grand prize). Five (5) First Place Prizes: The Glycemic Index Made Simple by Sherry Torkos, (estimated retail value $24.95). Ten (10) Second Place Prizes: 1-year subscription to KIWI Magazine, (estimated retail value $11.95).
Potential winner(s) may need to execute an address verification form and assignment of rights within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner determined. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and alternate determination. No responsibility is assumed for lost, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, illegible, or late entries that may occur in the processing of the entries in this Sweepstakes. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name, voice and likeness for publicity purposes in any media for any commercial or promotional purposes by Sponsor(s) without further compensation except where prohibited by law. Online entries will be declared by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole direction to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest or website violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Sponsor is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in the Sweepstakes-related materials. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries or for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associates with or utilized in this contest which may limit the ability to participate or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this contest. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the sweepstakes if it becomes technically corrupted and determine winner based on entries received prior to cancellation. Entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and winner randomly selected by Sponsor.
All travel companion(s) of winner will be required to execute a Release of Liability prior to departure and the parent and/or legal guardian of minor aged travel companions must execute a Release of Liability on the minors' behalf. Winners and their respective travel companions must travel together on the same itinerary. Any other expenses not specified are the responsibility of the individual winners. The winner and the travel companions will require a valid photo I.D. such as a valid drivers license or valid U.S. passport at time of departure.
General Release: By participating in the Sweepstakes, winner agrees that the Sponsors, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, and their officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless by winner for any liability, for any injury, loss or damages of any kind to persons, including death and property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or participation in any sweepstakes or prize related activity. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges.
Eligibility: Open to U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older, as of December 19, 2006, except employees of Natrol, Inc., Pharmachem, U.S. Space Camp, May Media Group LLC, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, their immediate families (defined as current spouse, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses, including any individuals domiciled in the same household as such employees). This offer is void in Rhode Island and Puerto Rico or wherever prohibited by law and subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Sweepstakes Rules and to accept the decisions of Sponsor as final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Non-compliance with any of the foregoing and any other condition of this Sweepstakes may result in disqualification.
Winner Notification: The winner(s) of the contest will be notified via phone, e-mail and/or United States mail shortly after the official drawing. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the winner, the Grand Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternative winner. Winners will be published and made available from June 30, 2007 to October 31, 2007 on www.kiwimagonline.com or www.natrol.com (click on the Slenderite Sweepstakes winners link.)

Construction and Disputes: All issues and questions concerning the construction validity interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of any entrant or Sponsor shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. As a condition of participating in the Sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action be resolved by one arbitrator in Los Angeles, California, through the services of either JAMS or ADR Services, Inc., or other mutually agreed alternative dispute resolution services.
1Roundtrip economy air tickets will be provided for a family of four from a major airport departure location closest to the winner’s place of residence to a major airport destination location near Huntsville, Alabama (no ground transportation to/from the airports is included).
