Happy Hanukkah!
Tonight marks the beginning of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights! Whether your family celebrates the holiday or is looking to learn a little more about it, kid-friendly books on the subject abound. Some of our favorites:
- Hanukkah Haiku by Harriet Ziefert. Japanese and Jewish cultures collide, with a special haiku poem for every night of the eight-day celebration.
- It’s Hanukkah by Santiago Cohen. Learn about the rituals and traditions of Hanukkah (while honing your kid’s counting skills) one night at a time.
- The Everything Kids’ Hanukkah Puzzle & Activity Book by Beth L. Blair. Find fun Hanukkah-themed games, trivia, crafts, songs, and more to add to your family’s celebration.
