Well, I definitely recommend making mini-golf and having your son help design the courses. You can use legos, blocks, cardboard…my daughter had a blast and we were just hindered by rain. I bought those special practice golf balls (not the very light whiffle-style, nor the real deal, but like a heavier rubber material at Target). And, Williams-Sonoma has a bug cake pan that makes great muffins and they’re definitely not girly. Alligator cake is perfect for boys, too. Just skip the dolls and tea and you have a winner. What have you done for parties in the past?

Hah! I know, 86Beav! I actually thought the golf course turned out lame but the kids loved it. I had some other photos of better holes (Pizza Mia was pretty cute, as was the beach hole) but our intern used just this one. I am going to give myself more time on that one for our next party and really do it up. I feared rain and kids in the house with clubs and balls, so I tossed it all together.

Maybe I can bake a golf course and that would be your ideal ; )
