Hi. My name is Joy and I am 5. I love to read. I go to the library at least once a week. Some of my favorite books are the World Snacks books by Amy Sanger. My most favorite of hers is Yum Yum Dim Sum because it is about Chinese food and I am part Chinese. I also like Ballerina Dreams by Lauren Thompson. It is my favorite book about ballet because it is about a very special group of ballerinas. I also like Annie and Snowball books by Cynthia Rylant. And I like Little House Chapter by Laura Ingalls Wilder and Renee Graef. One of my favorite authors is Ezra Jack Keats. Right now my favorite book that he wrote is Pet Show!, but I also like to read Peter’s Chair, Snowy Day, and Jenny’s Hat. I could tell you about more great books, but my Mom says that’s enough and it’s my brother’s turn now. Have a great day. Love, Joy

  3. Jonah Says:

Hi Maylee. I’m Jonah. I am 3, so I am older, but I want to be 6. I like books alot. I got my own library card a couple of weeks ago at the library with my Mommy and my baby brother was there too. But he is just a baby, so he doesn’t get a card yet. So I will share mine with him if he wants to. My favorite book is Bee Bim Bop by Linda Sue Park. My favorite part is when the silly dog licks the floor and I want to make Bee Bim Bop for dinner one night. My Mommy said she will make it for me since I want to and there is a recipe in the back with all the greedients that you need to make it. I can’t read everything on the list myself so my sister or my Mommy help me read that part. I like First Book of Sushi by Amy Sanger because I love to eat sushi and I like Hola Jalapeno because I like Mexican food too. I like Blue Hat, Green Hat by Sandra Boynton because I can read it all by myself and that the chicken in the book is so funny he makes me laugh all the time because he is so silly. I have a stack of books from the library right on my desk. I really like Eating the Alphabet by Lois Ehlert and What is a Wookie? by Laura Buller. Robots are my favorite and I have a Robot book called Hello Robots! by Bob Staake. Thank you. See you later. Love, Jonah

Hi Maylee. My favorite books are the Warriors series, the Harry Potter series, 39 clues, Tunnels and Deeper, Stargirl, Love Stargirl, Letters from Rifka, Babysitters Club, and anything written by Julie Edwards. Warriors is about cats in clans and they are by Erin Hunter. Tunnels and Deeper are about two boys who dig and find a secret underground civilization in their basement. Stargirl and Love Stargirl are by Jerry Spinelli. He is a really great author. Letters from Rifka is about a girl who wants to immigrate to America but can’t, so her family has to leave her behind. Babysitters club is about a group of girls who form a club that babysits. And I like Julie Edwards because she has a lively style of writing.
