Look Who We Got Our Hanes On…

I was walking through my local Target, just browsing. Which, as anyone bullseye_v32392366_.gifknows, is a very dangerous thing to do in Target. You go into Target needing to stock up on Method products and you come out with 4 DVDs, some house cleaner, a box of Kashi and about 40,000 other things you were not aware you needed until Target politely pointed it out to you.

Anyway, I was in the underwear section and I was surprised to see that old, home_logo.gifreliable undergarment company Hanes, with a 100% organic seal on their label. I was skeptical at first, but then I saw a whole line of Hanes organic underwear. Everything from underwear to lounge pants! For a person who was not raised organically, this comes as a huge comfort. I grew up always wearing Hanes, and now I am glad I can continue doing so. (They are just so darn comfy!)

So a big thank you to Target and Hanes for making this shopper very happy!

Thanks Target and Hanes! I am so excited about this. I’m heading to target this weekend. Do they have kids clothes/underwear?

Now I knew about Hanes partnership with 6 Degrees chartiable program http://inventorspot.com/articles/six_degrees_kevin_bacons_innovative_charity_site_6156
but I had no idea about the organic line they now have. Awesome find. Thank you for the find and thank you Hanes and Target for the organic line! I feel better about wearing Hanes too.

I was excited until I learned that Hanes is still using child labor and sweatshops. It’s a little hard to be thrilled about it when I know that some 8 year old girl being worked to death might have made them. I love Hanes but I don’t think I will be buying their products until I hear that they stopped using child labor.
