As for America Recycles Day, we see it sort of like Valentine's Day: It's great to show your love (in this case, for the planet) on the designated day, but it's something we should be doing everyday regardless. As for America Recycles Day, we see it sort of like Valentine’s Day: It’s great to show your love (in this case, for the planet) on the designated day, but it’s something we should be doing everyday regardless. So keep spreading the word!

Just last week, I submitted a Go Green initative to my son's preschool director...it included a recycling program. I truly hope they start to recycle because they are throwing away sooooo many plastic cups. Drives me insane. But I am sure they need baby steps to make the change. We didn't start recycling until I watched the show Wasted on Planet Green. Love that show! It made since and gave me EASY ideas to incorporate @ home. Now we have more recycle than actual trash.
